Saving Files
- Naming Properly – Naming your work properly for an easy find later.
- XML format – Extensible Markup Language, It allows us to define their own elements
- Saving as PDF – Portable Document Format, file format created by adobe system for document exchange.
Selecting Text & Other Items – Try this hold down shit and press the arrows left or right. or simply highlight the text.
- Mouse vs. keyboard
- Shift & Control - Shit and Control are one of the many shortcuts. Such as Shift arrows/ and / Control C or V for copy and paste.
Copy & Paste + Clipboard - to copy hold down control or command key and press C and V or paste.
- Split screen view
- Find/Replace – you can quickly find every word or phrase by going on the edit menu and click Find. Same goes with Replace, you can automatically replace text – For example you can replace “acme” with “Apex.”
Spelling & Grammer
- Auto Corrects – Corrects misspelled words, and incorrect capitalization.
Hyperlinks
- E-mail + Faxing directly from word – Emailing and faxing directly from word is as easy as you think. To Send a file you would have to send it as an attachment trough your email. To e-mail a file open the file in word, click the office button, point to send, and then click e-mail.
